Leaving on a jet plane...

This is us getting ready to leave on our holiday trip. Our amazing neighbor Ellen drove us to the airport at 4:30 am on Christmas eve.

Alexis actually managed to get both babies in the moby... this lasted about 15 minutes.

Growing

This week at the doctor's office. Thomas weighed in at 10 pounds 8 oz and Camille at 9 pounds 4.

First Hike

We went on our first family hike last week - up to Tilden park's inspiration point. I ended up nursing on a bench with a view of the golden gate bridge.

first bath

First bath in our lovely baby bathtub - Thanks Dawn and Dan for the gift. Thomas wasn't as big a fan of his first full bath as Camille but they both did fine.

And an apology

We want to just give a blanket apology to everyone for not being better corespondents. Mi-Suk ended up on bed rest before the birth and we've been so busy after the birth that we haven't been good at returning phone calls or emails and haven't managed to do much in the way of birth announcements or thank yous to all the amazing people who have been so supportive in these past weeks.

Passport photos

Today's project... trying to take photos for the babies passports. They have to be facing forward, eyes open and not making a funny face. Quite a tall order for newborns. After many attempts we think we have photos that will work. Camille is the top photo, Thomas the bottom. Hopefully the passport office will accept the photos.

Feeding Camille

Camille has had trouble with breastfeeding and so far has taken most of her meals through a syringe or a special supplementer attached to a finger. Here are some picture of the process and one of the two babies with eyes open. Thomas in foreground.
